RSG Safety presented the reasons and benefits of setting up its new operations in Rotterdam during a trade and investment seminar in London on April 14th 2011.

In Europe House, Westminster many SME representatives joined the seminar to hear more on business opportunities in the Netherlands and Rotterdam. Even Dirk Kuyt and Robin van Persie found their way into the presentations as examples of how successful and strong Anglo-Dutch ties are.

With examples of companies from the UK having made the move and Alistair Wright giving a 'live' case study the seminar was found to be practical, informative and interesting. Expert speakers touched upon the different strong clusters in the Rotterdam Metropolitan Region and the business environment in the Netherlands.

Rotterdam is a young, international port-city known for its dynamism and can-do mentality. The Mayor of Rotterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb portraited the city's focus on sustainability and opening up the region for companies from the UK.
